Required information

Your notice should include:

• Identification of the rightsholder and your contact details
• The specific URL(s) of the alleged infringing content on HKCareerPath
• Identification of the original work and proof of ownership (or authority to act on the rightsholder’s behalf)
• A good-faith statement that the use is not authorised by the rightsholder, its agent, or the law
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that the person sending it is authorised to act on behalf of the rightsholder

Our commitment

• We acknowledge receipt of all properly identified notices within 24 hours.
• We remove or paraphrase identified infringing content within 48 hours of receipt, pending review.
• We maintain a log of takedown notices for accountability.

Counter-notice

If you are the person who originally posted content that has been removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email. Counter-notices must contain the same identifying details as the original notice plus the basis on which the removal is contested.

False or abusive notices

Materially false or abusive takedown notices may be referred to legal counsel. We reserve the right to refuse to act on notices that lack the required information or appear to be filed in bad faith.
