1. Purpose

HKCareerPath publishes information about Hong Kong government and secure-sector job opportunities to help applicants understand career options and prepare effective applications. We report on current public-sector recruitment events.

2. Use of Public-Sector Data

Job postings, grade information, salary scales, and related data are sourced from publicly available HK government publications, including but not limited to the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), Hong Kong Police Force, Fire Services Department, Department of Health, and other recruiting departments and statutory bodies.

This content may be copyrighted by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), DATA.GOV.HK, or other rightsholders. Fair dealing for reporting current events is permitted under section 39 of the Hong Kong Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528) provided that the source of the information is acknowledged. We rely on this statutory exception to report on current job hiring events. Every listing on this site shows clear attribution to its source and a direct link to the original posting.

3. Independence

HKCareerPath is independently operated. We have no affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership with HKSAR Government, the Civil Service Bureau, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, or any recruiting department.

Any paid products sold on this site (mock papers, prep guides, video courses) are independently produced and are not endorsed or recognised by any government body or examination authority.

4. Information Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate, but official publications by recruiting departments always prevail. Always verify entry requirements, salary, application procedure, and closing dates against the original publication before relying on our information.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Republish or redistribute our original content without permission
• Use automated tools to scrape this site at high volume
• Misrepresent our content as endorsed by any government body or exam authority
• Attempt to interfere with the site’s operation

Paid content (mock papers and courses) is licensed to the purchasing account for personal, non-transferable use only. You may not share your account, or copy, screenshot for distribution, reproduce, resell, or redistribute the questions, passages, answer explanations, or course material. Each paper and course is displayed online only (no download) and is watermarked with the buyer’s account. Breach may result in access being revoked without refund, in addition to any remedy available under the Hong Kong Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528).

6. Takedown

We respect copyright. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, please email takedown@hkcareerpath.com. See /takedown for the full procedure. We aim to remove identified infringing content within 48 hours.

7. Limitation of Liability

HKCareerPath is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on information on this site or from service interruptions.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
